Summary
A global electronic trading technology team is seeking a senior DevOps and integration specialist to build and evolve continuous integration environments and automated testing solutions. You will support releases and production systems, integrate trading applications with front-, middle-, and back-office platforms, validate end-to-end workflows, and coordinate certifications and connectivity with external market venues. The role requires at least five years of applied software engineering experience, advanced Unix scripting, Python and Java skills, test automation expertise, cloud-native experience, and the ability to solve complex design and operational problems independently.

Description
We are seeking a DevOps / Integration Specialist to join our Global Equities Electronic Trading team.
This role is pivotal in setting up and maintaining a continuous integration environment and providing robust testing solutions for our electronic trading applications including Smart Order Router, Market Access, DMA/Sponsored DMA, Risk Controls and Internal Matching Engine.
Job responsibilities
Develop and implement a framework for continuous integration environments, driving its adoption and evolution.Automate testing processes and any manual workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Integrate with various trading front office, middle office and back office systemManage release processes, provide environment support, and offer production support as needed.Conduct client, venue certification, and connectivity for various exchanges, markets, and dark pools.Test and validate individual applications and end-to-end integration.Works very closely with stake holders and clients and update, configure, change the trading application and downstream peripherals.Carry out Client , Venue Certification and Connectivity for various exchanges/markets/dark pools Working with various teams including Application Development, Business Analyst & Operations
Required skills:
Formal training or certification on software engineering* concepts and 5+ years applied experienceHands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityAdvanced knowledge of programming language(s) - Unix scripting, Python, and Java programming languages for Automation, Monitoring and SurveillanceAdvanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Scripting skills to automate day-to-day development and testing and integration tasks (Shell/Perl/Python)Creating and automating Test Strategies/Test Plans based on functional Testing and non-functional requirements and Executing themAbility to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversightPractical cloud native experienceExperience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
Preferred skills:
Electronic trading exposure with knowledge in trading protocols such as FIX is desirableKnowledge of Equities Trading Stack – Order Management Systems, ALGO, Smart Order Routers, Dark Pools, Equities exchange protocolsKnowledge of kdb/q is a plus
