Job Title: Front-End Developer (Capital One – W2 Only) Client: Capital One Req ID: 107331-1 Employment Type: Contract (W2 Only) Location: McLean, VA / Richmond, VA (Hybrid) Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday Onsite | Monday & Friday Remote Eligibility: Must have prior Capital One experience as a contractor on your own W2. Required SkillsStrong experience with React.js and JavaScriptHands-on experience with TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3Knowledge of Java, SQL, Python, or GoExperience with Jest and modern front-end development practicesFamiliarity with AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based applicationsUnderstanding of Agile/Scrum methodologiesResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain scalable front-end applications.Collaborate with Agile teams, product managers, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.Build cloud-enabled applications using modern technologies and best practices.Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to engineering excellence.QualificationsBachelor's Degree required.Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience (internships do not count).4+ years of experience with React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, or related technologies preferred.3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).Experience working with open-source frameworks and Agile development environments.
