You will be instrumental in learning and establishing operational excellence across multiple cloud platforms, enabling the NGSIEM FrontTier Expansions team to deploy and manage LogScale fleets wherever our customers need them. This role combines hands-on technical work with strategic planning to ensure consistent, reliable, and scalable LogScale operations across a multi- cloud environment. You'll be working with systems that ingest over 100 PB of event data daily, serve millions of queries per hour, and support thousands of customers globally. This is an opportunity to work at a scale few engineers ever experience, where your contributions directly impact the security posture of organizations worldwide. This role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site from our Austin, TX Office. What You'll Do: Design and implement infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, OCI) and CrowdStrike managed datacentersDevelop cloud expertise across multiple platforms, becoming proficient in cloud-native services and best practices for each providerCreate standardized patterns and frameworks for deploying services across different cloud providersMonitor and maintain the health, performance, and reliability of multi-cloud infrastructure processing trillions of events dailyImplement comprehensive monitoring with Service Level Indicators across different cloud platforms to enable proactive alertingConduct capacity planning and forecasting based on workload patterns across cloud environmentsProvision and scale infrastructure (vertical/horizontal) based on demand and cloud-specific capabilitiesDevelop automation tools and microservices for platform components across multiple cloud platformsOrchestrate version upgrades, patch management, and configuration changes with minimal customer impactEstablish security and compliance controls tailored to each cloud platform's requirementsCollaborate with product management, engineering, and customer support teams to align infrastructure capabilities with product vision and customer needsAct as a technical liaison between FrontTier Expansions and internal business partners to ensure infrastructure supports business objectivesContribute to delivering world-class performance and reliability for customersBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines for testing and releasing configuration and software across cloudsDeploy, operate, and troubleshoot applications in Kubernetes clusters across managed and self-managed environmentsParticipate in on-call rotation to support production infrastructure globally What You'll Need: 5+ years of experience with large-scale, business-critical Linux-based environmentsHands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or OCI) with eagerness to learn othersExperience with configuration management and Infrastructure as Code using Chef, Ansible, or similar toolsExperience deploying, operating, and troubleshooting applications in Kubernetes clusters in production environmentsProficiency in scripting and programming using Python, Bash, or GoExperience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Bitbucket)Understanding of distributed systems and data processing at scaleKnowledge of networking concepts including VPCs, load balancers, and DNSProven ability to work effectively with remote teams across multiple time zonesStrong analytical skills with ability to make data-driven infrastructure decisionsExcellent communication skills for documenting solutions and collaborating with distributed teamsCuriosity about and ability to investigate new cloud technologies, systems, and toolsA can-do attitude; you thrive collaborating in a team and are not afraid of taking on responsibilitiesAvailability for on-call on a rotational basisProven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
