About the RoleWe’re looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and scale the infrastructure and operational systems that power VulnCheck’s exploit intelligence platform. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you’ll own critical infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and reliability practices end-to-end - from design through production. You’ll play a key role in shaping our infrastructure architecture, driving DevOps and SRE best practices, and ensuring the platform is secure, scalable, and highly available. While you’ll help resolve production issues, your focus will be on building durable, automated solutions that prevent them. This is a 100% remote role but we're primarily looking for candidates in the United States (MA / Austin TX / MD). What You’ll DoDesign and build scalable, secure cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelinesOwn infrastructure end-to-end, including architecture, provisioning, deployment, and operationLead technical design discussions and contribute to infrastructure and platform architecture decisionsBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automation to support engineering velocityDebug complex production issues and implement long-term, scalable solutionsImprove system performance, reliability, observability, and cost-efficiency across the platformDefine and drive SRE practices, including SLIs/SLOs, incident response, and postmortemsPartner closely with Product and other Engineering teams to deliver impactful featuresOwn and participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and operational readinessWhat You’ll Bring5+ years of experience building and scaling cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE systemsStrong programming or scripting skills in one or more languages (Python, Go, Bash, etc.)Experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or threat intelligenceDeep experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)Experience designing and operating distributed systems and microservices architecturesStrong understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience building CI/CD pipelines and driving deployment automationProven ability to debug and optimize production systems, including on-call ownershipStrong ownership mindset with the ability to lead projects independentlyExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionallyPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with CVE, NVD, KEV, or exploit intelligence datasetsExperience with observability platforms (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)Background in high-growth or startup environmentsWhat We OfferWe believe people do their best work when they feel supported, trusted, and valued.
