Here, engineering leverage comes from directing, reviewing, and owning the correctness of systems, not from typing speed.
You’ll work daily alongside Nova, our AI Agentic Engineer, across the full Software Development Lifecycle: from curating requirements to elaborating PRDs, writing ADRs, and co-authoring code.
You'll spend more time steering agent output while remaining fully accountable for what ships.
Responsibilities:
Direct and steer AI coding agents (e.g., Nova) to curate client requests, elaborate Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), design plans, and co-author code.Review code with equal rigor (both agent-generated and human-written), watching for hallucinated APIs, subtly incorrect logic, and security issues.Design and maintain codebase context (clear structure, documentation, scoped tasks) so agents can navigate effectively.Write robust tests (unit, integration, performance) and validate results as the primary means of verifying agent output.Develop clean, testable code for continuous delivery, participating in pull-request reviews and shipping code with zero downtime.Write Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) for change requests, documenting reasoning and trade-offs.
Main Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with backend and frontend frameworks.Knowledge of Relational Databases (T-SQL, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL.Experience designing and building public APIs, alongside Git version control workflows and DevOps practices.Hands-on experience with AI coding agents/harnesses (e.g., Nova, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) beyond basic autocomplete.Comfort designing/iterating on prompts, system instructions, and tool definitions for agents.Capacity to handle and orchestrate multiple AI agents running tasks concurrently on the same project.Solid Computer Science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, system design) to critically evaluate agent output rather than rubber-stamp it.
