Think, try, and thrive with us in collaborative work environments that spark game-changing concepts.2nd and 3rd shift positions available Responsibilities:Prepare workplace for manual activitiesRetrieve any materials, documents, tools, or supplies necessary to perform the job function and keep stock levels within the min-max range. Keep area organized and proper 5S in placeSeal interior and exterior seamsSpray or lay out PVC protection and sika, taking into account the required surface quality on the visible parts of the shellPolish and buff parts and bodies according to correct methods and materials, and clean polishing residue. Thoroughly inspect finished job and make any additional repairs before releasingPerform visual inspection for completeness and proper execution of standard, document if necessaryPerform sanding operationsFix minor issues with paint tools/equipment (such as through filter cleaning, changing of nozzles)Disassemble, clean, reassemble and check functionality of tools and equipment e.g. nozzles, lances, pistols, bells/injectorsAssist employees with less experience or qualifications in training100% inspection of all parts, and van bodies. Record defects into the quality reporting systemFollow instructions and given schemeFollow all safety instructionsParticipate in the Continuous Improvement ProgramReceives Guidance by team leader or more Senior Team MemberParticipates in regularly scheduled team meetingsWill perform other duties as assignedQualifikationen High School Diploma or GED required Required: 2+ years of relevant manufacturing experience; OR Relevant certificate and 1+ years of relevant experience. Preferred: 3+ years of relevant experience; OR Relevant certificate and 2+ years of relevant experience. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job. Candidates should possess basic craftsmanship and technical understanding Basic hand/power tool familiarity Experience using buffers/sanders on automotive paint preferred Experience in automotive paint environment preferred Must be able to perform the essential job functions Willing to work overtime and weekends as required We are all in for change.
