A key part of the role is to evaluate supplier technologies, benchmark market solutions, and prepare technical input for strategic concept decisions.
Task description:Define and evaluate future BEV drive system concepts, including architecture, integration level, HV system, charging concept, and key performance/cost assumptions.Analyze supplier technologies and market trends to benchmark external solutions against internal Mercedes-Benz requirements and future platform needs.Prepare technical RFQ content, supplier questions, evaluation criteria, and structured feedback summaries to support concept and partner decisions.Align drive system concepts with internal stakeholders across eDrive, battery, E/E, vehicle integration, testing, purchasing, and production.Align drive system concepts with internal stakeholders across eDrive, battery, E/E, vehicle integration, testing, purchasing, and production.Consolidate technical findings into clear KPI evaluations, concept recommendations, risk assessments, and management-ready decision documents.
