We deliver IT services and solutions for the different international Business Units from Nationale Nederlanden Group.Senior Quality Assurance EngineerYour Impact as Senior Quality Assurance Engineer: What are you going to do As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you take a leading and proactive role in shaping quality across the organization. You do not wait for work to come to you—instead, you actively engage with teams, identify gaps, and drive improvements in testing practices and automation.You define and implement testing standards and frameworks, and actively work across teams to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities.You work closely with development and QA engineers across teams, ensuring clear, high-quality test reporting in English. You play a key communicative and coordinating role, combining deep technical expertise with strong stakeholder management, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. In this role, you collaborate closely with the other Test Environment Coordinator and Lead QA Engineers, and act as a senior sparring partner and coach within the QA domain.Your impact as a QA Automation Engineer at Customer & DigitalYou play a key role in improving the quality and stability of our digital platforms by:Proactively reaching out to teams to understand their testing challenges and helping them adopt better practicesDriving organization-wide quality standards and automation strategiesActing as a trusted advisor for QA, helping teams improve their maturity and effectivenessEnsuring issues are not only solved, but structurally prevented through standardization and insightsCreating clarity and alignment across teams, especially in complex or disrupted environmentsYour ability to take initiative, connect people, and drive improvements directly impacts developer productivity, product quality, and customer experience.Key responsibilities include:Define, implement, and continuously improve test automation frameworks and standards across C&DActively engage with teams to identify testing needs, gaps, and improvement opportunitiesProactively drive adoption of QA best practices and the NN QA Maturity ModelDesign and implement automated tests across TEST and ACC environmentsBuild and promote reusable solutions and test automation patternsInvestigate recurring issues and initiate structural improvementsMonitor and improve collaboration and processes across TEST and Acceptance environmentsFacilitate knowledge sharing within the Engineering Guild and Test CircleAct as a coach and sparring partner for QA engineers and development teamsTake ownership of improving quality—not only technically, but also organizationally and culturallyThe team you’ll join:Every team that contributes to the TST, ACC and Production environments content is your partner in the day-to-day running – so that's a big group; but the coordination and your own team is the IT/Performance & Monitoring team of C&D. This core team deals with central solutions and problems regarding monitoring, performance and is currently investigating how the use of the Test systems can be improved, how QA Automation can be promoted as a shared knowledge center, and disruptions can be better managed.
