Role- Back end Developer Location- Amsterdam, Netherlands Type: B2B or Fixed Term contract (1 year)- both open Salary for fixed term: 80K -85K EURO/annum Candidate- Rate/day- 300-370 Euros/ day Exp range- 8+ yrs Hybrid: 3 days onsite a week. Details- Mandatory skill – Java, Spring boot Job Description We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architectures to design, build, and scale backend systems in a cloud-native environment. The role requires a hands-on engineer who can deliver high-quality services, collaborate across teams, and contribute to architectural and design decisions. Roles & Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring BootBuild and support microservices-based architectures with high availability and performanceDevelop and consume RESTful APIs and event-driven servicesCollaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutionsParticipate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-makingEnsure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and best practicesTroubleshoot and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecksContribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and processes Technical Skills 8+ years of hands-on backend development experienceStrong proficiency in Java (8+) and Spring BootSolid experience designing and implementing microservices architecturesExperience with REST APIs, messaging, and asynchronous processingHands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)Good experience in SQL and NoSQL databasesFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and build toolsExperience with Docker and containerized deployment This is a high-priority role, and profiles are being reviewed immediately.
