Software Engineer

You'll be seeing a lot of these fellows Main Purpose Of The Role As a Software Engineer with Travis, you actively participate in all stages of our engineering process. Your engagement spans system design, development, testing, and the vital tasks of documenting and maintaining the Travis application. Work with PHP, SQL, Symfony, Docker and Composer. Your valuable work and innovative ideas play a direct and influential role in shaping the trajectory and quality of our application. Responsibilities Assume responsibility for maintaining the stability and security of the application Provide support for the TRAVIS application and to all departments using it Mentor junior developers to build their skills and knowledge Create new features and make our platform future proof Improve our applications by designing, developing, testing, and maintaining the Travis application Requirements Proficient in PHP (minimum 3 years of experience) and SQL, with a curiosity for exploring other programming languages Experience with the Symfony Framework, Docker, Composer, Git Minimum of a Bachelor degree, with strong analytical and practical skills. Know about and champion Agile/Scrum and test-driven development Solid understanding of working Agile and the full development lifecycle Are fluent in English (both spoken and written) You fully embrace our Core Values and consistently act in accordance to them Competencies Performance motivation Dedicated to doing high-quality work and consistently pushes for improvement or to exceed expectations.
