Full-Stack Developer

We have an exciting opportunity to join our world-class digital team. As a Full-Stack Developer you'll be involved in the entire project lifecycle, from early concept and technical design through to build, deployment and ongoing refinement. Reporting to the Head of Development you'll play a critical role in the in our team's digital output. Our Digital Centre of Excellence is Devon-based, and we provide the opportunity for candidates to work between our creative and collaborative space in the centre of Plymouth and from home What you'll be doing Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Designing, building and maintaining robust, scalable full‑stack solutions across front‑end and back‑end technologiesTranslating creative and functional requirements into secure, performant, user‑centred digital experiencesImplementing responsive, accessible interfaces alongside reliable server‑side logic and integrationsContributing to technical solution design and supporting the creation of technical documentation where neededIntegrating with content management systems, APIs, databases and third‑party servicesEnsuring development standards, best practices and agreed methodologies are followed consistentlyCollaborating closely with our Designers, Project Managers and other Developers to deliver high‑quality work on time and within budgetSupporting deployment, monitoring and ongoing optimisation of live solutions Exploring and applying new tools, technologies and approaches to improve quality and efficiency What you'll need to have Essential skills: Experience across both front‑end and back‑end developmentProficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with experience using modern front‑end frameworks such as Vue.js, React or Angular3+ years of experience building and consuming APIs and integrating front‑end and back‑end systemsExperience with responsive, cross‑browser and cross‑platform developmentExperience with server‑side development, ideally using technologies such as Node.js, .NET, ASP.NET, PHP or similarUnderstanding of data persistence, including working with databases and data modelsExperience being on call for bugs or other issues that may arise during a sprint across multiple concurrent projectsProblem‑solving skills with the ability to design pragmatic, creative technical solutionsExperience using analytics and performance monitoring tools such as Google AnalyticsClear experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners with the ability to work with both technical and non‑technical team members Desirable skills: Experience with cloud platforms, such as Microsoft AzureFamiliarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflowsUnderstanding of security, scalability and performance considerations in full‑stack applicationsExperience contributing to technical decisions in discovery or pitch phases A Bit About Us Inizio Engage is a strategic, commercial and creative engagement partner that specializes in healthcare.
