Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to be part of our Foundation Tribe, to support our growing regional Product team here in Singapore as part of an international team of highly talented and motivated people.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges across software and infrastructure layers, with a focus on optimizing performance, reliability, and scalability.Contribute to the design and evolution of system architecture to address current business needs while ensuring scalability and adaptability for future technologies.Drive code quality by enforcing coding standards, conducting comprehensive code reviews, and implementing automated testing frameworks to ensure early bug detection and software reliability.Manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables within autonomous teams.Work in a cross-functional and international team to deliver a holistic solution.Participate actively in architectural discussions, open reviews, and knowledge sharing with peers.Be an active partner for Product management in order to provide the best value for stakeholders and our customers.Good understanding and independent application of cloud environment, CI/CD, testing and validationIndependently applies design patterns and best practices in reliability management (resiliency, autoscaling, monitoring, alerting)Mentor junior engineers, sharing technical knowledge and best practices while modeling strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills to uplift overall team performance.
