Our client in the energy sector is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to help build scalable, production-ready solutions that enable customers to better monitor and manage their energy usage.
In this role, you’ll be working on cloud-native backend systems using .NET and Azure, contributing to innovative products with real impact.
You’ll take ownership of features end-to-end, from design and development to deployment and monitoring, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
What you’ll be doing:
Designing, building, and maintaining backend services using .NET on AzureWriting clean, maintainable, and well-tested codeMaking technical decisions around performance, scalability, and reliabilityImplementing event-driven architectures and messaging solutionsOwning features across the full development lifecycleContributing to architectural decisions and best practicesCollaborating with developers, DevOps, and other stakeholders
What we’re looking for:
7+ years of backend development experienceStrong expertise in .NET Core and C#Solid experience with Azure (e.g.
Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vault)Experience with event-driven architectures and tools like KafkaFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as CodeStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindsetFocus on code quality, security, and performanceFluent in English and DutchExperience in the energy sector is a plus, but not required.No freelance/ZZP option
