Responsibilities
Taking ownership of existing PHP / Laravel applications — updates, optimisation, and ongoing improvements
Developing new features and internal tools (with a strong focus on FilamentPHP)
Working across the full stack — MySQL, front-end UI (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Troubleshooting issues and implementing long-term, scalable fixes
Collaborating with non-technical teams and contributing to wider project delivery
Qualifications
Essential:
Strong commercial experience with PHP (8+) and LaravelSolid front-end skills (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)Experience with MySQL (design & optimisation)Comfortable using GitA proactive, solutions-focused mindsetNice to Have:
Experience with FilamentPHPExposure to the TALL stack (Tailwind, Alpine.js, Livewire)Basic understanding of Linux / deployment / CI/CD processes
