Model Validator As a Model Validator, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance of DLL’s AIRB credit risk models. You will independently perform validations on PD, EAD, and LGD models and contribute to the continuous enhancement of DLL’s Future Model Landscape (FML). If you are passionate about identifying model risks, challenging model assumptions, and contributing to robust model governance, this role offers a great opportunity to deepen your expertise Find out more here about how you can unleash your full potential at DLL Day to day: Perform independent validations of AIRB credit risk models (PD, EAD, LGD) in line with regulatory requirements and DLL’s model validation standards. A strong experience on IRB LGD models is considered a strong plus. Prepare clear, concise, and well‑structured validation reports summarizing methodologies, findings, and recommendations.Engage with model developers to discuss validation outcomes and ensure timely resolution of findings.Support regulatory interactions (e.g., ECB/DNB) by preparing documentation and answering technical questions.Contribute to model governance activities such as maintaining the Model Inventory and supporting Model Risk Committee (MRC) submissions.Assist in model monitoring and annual review processes.Collaborate with junior validators by providing guidance on technical topics and quality standards (without people‑management responsibility).Manage validation tasks independently, including planning, execution, documentation, and communication with stakeholdersAll members enjoy Two working days per year volunteering for a local charity.Health and Wellness program including healthy food, free health checks, fun health & vitality activities.Flexible hours with possibility to work from homeCareer development opportunities: online learning, member development programs.Click this link for an overview of all the benefits in your region.“We lead the way in meeting the need for flexibility and transparency which our customers increasingly expect” Essentials: Master’s degree in Econometrics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, or another quantitative field.A least 5 years of hands‑on experience in IRB model validation or development. Direct experience with Supervisory inspections is a plus.Strong understanding of the regulatory framework for IRB models (CRR/CRD, EBA Guidelines, ECB expectations).Solid experience performing quantitative analyses using Python or R, and SQL; experience with cloud platforms (Azure/Databricks) is a plus.Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex results into clear messages for stakeholders.Strong English communication and report‑writing skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with developers, auditors, and other stakeholders.Choose wellbeing DLL’s wellbeing ambition is to educate, equip and empower members to build connections, manage their mental, emotional, physical and financial wellness and maintain balance between work and the other priorities that make up their lives.
