Mechanical Engineer

About the Role: The Link Between Market and Production In this role, you won't be designing new models from scratch. Instead, you will act as a vital link between our global strategies and local market success. Your mission is to translate market needs, dealer feedback, and specific customer requirements into precise technical drawings and production plans. You will balance "big picture" thinking with hands-on technical execution. Your Impact As our Engineer, you will be the operational engine behind our product adaptability. Your mission will focus on four key pillars: Market-Driven Design: Adapting and modifying existing trailer designs to meet specific market demands or custom orders. Technical Documentation: Creating and maintaining 2D/3D CAD documentation and ensuring the accuracy of Bill of Materials (BOM). Sales & Production Partnership: Collaborate with all departments to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement and turn them into feasible technical actions and solutions Process Integrity: Ensuring that all modifications meet safety standards and align with our high-quality manufacturing processes. Who You Are A Versatile Professional: You feel confident in an international environment and speak fluent English. CAD Proficient: You have strong experience with CAD (preferably SolidWorks) and PDM, and can translate ideas into actionable insights. Technical Background: You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field and have experience in steel construction and metalworking. An Independent Planner: You enjoy the autonomy of a standalone role and take ownership of your tasks and deadlines. A Connector: You are communicative and enjoy building positive relationships with sales teams, production, and dealers alike. • Process-Oriented Engineer: You are familiar with lean engineering, lean manufacturing, and design manufacturing principles, with a continuous improvement mindset. Systems-Savvy: You have experience working with ERP systems and processes (experience with Business Central is a plus).
